One-Bedroom Grand Luxxe Jungle Suite

Vidanta has recently introduced a new Grand Luxxe version, the Grand Luxxe Deluxxe One-Bedroom, which for now is only available at Riviera Maya.  At Riviera Maya, they are referred to as the Grand Luxxe Jungle Suites.  

These units are aimed at people that want more privacy for a second couple or for kids.They are suitable for a family or two couples as they hold up to four adults and two children under the age of 12. 

The advantage of these units over the One-bedroom Grand Luxxe Loft (only in Nuevo Vallarta) is that both the master bedroom and the living room sleeping area in the Jungle suite can be closed off from the rest of the unit for privacy.  Also the Jungle Suite has two full baths and can accommodate  two more adults than the one bedroom Loft. The advantage over the one bedroom Grand Luxxe is that people sleeping in the living room have more privacy and have their own full bath.

The Grand Luxxe Jungle Suite features

• a gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room, one bedroom, two full bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi tub, and a private terrace.

• one bedroom with a king-size bed and in-room TV

• a full gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar

• an attached dining room with formal dining table and sideboard

• a living room with two sleeper sofas and a second large-screen TV that can be closed off from the rest of the unit for privacy.

• and a private terrace, complete with outdoor lounge furniture. 

One thing they don't have, however, is the usual splash pool on the terrace.

At Riviera Maya there are many Jungle Suite units with plans for at least eight 3-story buildings.  They are quite a distance from the Grand Luxxe pools (a special long Grand Luxxe residence pool and a Grand Luxxe and Grand Bliss exclusive Beach Club on the ocean), so you have to use the shuttles to get back and forth.  Our experience has been that the shuttles work great .They are building a lazy river around the Grand Luxxe Jungle suite buildings, but as of Spring, 2019, construction has been delayed.  They found a pre-Columbian ruin where the lazy river was supposed to go, and they had to stop while the archaeologists looked it over.
